Two members of the Murtaza Lab at the Center for Precision Medicine recently showcased their innovative research at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2025.

Elise Dietmann, an undergraduate researcher, presented her work on genomics-enabled cancer diagnostics, contributing to the lab’s mission of advancing precision oncology through novel molecular approaches.

Muhammad Talha Nawaz,MBBS/MD in front of his poster

Muhammad Talha Nawaz,MBBS/MD a clinical research fellow, presented findings from his pilot study evaluating tumor DNA detection in peritoneal fluid. His research explores new methods for monitoring peritoneal metastasis in patients undergoing intra-peritoneal chemotherapy.
