2025 Keynote Speaker Spotlight: Janice Chen, PhD
“Reading and Writing the Code of Life”

Thank you to our Keynote speaker, Janice Chen, PhD, at the 4th Annual Advancing Precision Medicine Symposium.
Dr. Chen is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Mammoth Biosciences, a pioneering biotech company founded in 2018 that is revolutionizing diagnostics through CRISPR technology. Under her leadership, Mammoth is developing cutting-edge tools to detect and cure disease by harnessing the diversity of nature and the power of novel CRISPR systems.
A former student of Nobel Laureate Jennifer Doudna, Dr. Chen earned her PhD at UC Berkeley, where she co-invented several CRISPR-based technologies. Her work has earned her recognition on Forbes 30 Under 30, MIT Technology Review’s 35 Innovators Under 35, and Endpoints Top 20 Women in Biopharma.
