2026 Keynote Speaker Spotlight: Haider Warraich, MD ARPA-H Program Manager, Scalable Solutions

Dr. Haider Warraich is a physician, researcher, and health technology leader serving as a Program Manager at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA‑H), where he leads ambitious efforts to transform care delivery through next‑generation technologies, including artificial intelligence for chronic disease management.
A practicing cardiologist with expertise in heart failure and transplantation, Dr. Warraich previously served as a Senior Clinical Advisor to the FDA Commissioner, helping shape national policy on drugs, devices, nutrition, and digital health. He has also held academic and clinical leadership roles at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the VA Boston Healthcare System, where he directed the Heart Failure Program.
Dr. Warraich earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University, completed his residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and pursued fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center. A prolific scholar, he has authored more than 175 peer‑reviewed publications and several widely acclaimed books exploring medicine, science, and the human experience of illness
