The 2026 Advancing the Diagnostic-to-Treatment Continuum in Cancer Care joint conference, a recurring event series from Advancing Precision Oncology (APO) and Advancing Pathology Education (APE), was held on August 27 and 28 in Madison, Wisconsin, at the Madison Concourse Hotel.

Throughout the event, oncology, pathology, research and precision medicine perspectives came together to discuss how field advances are being applied to real-world cancer care. Dr. Jeremy Kratz, MD, led a broader discussion around precision oncology in the community setting, where he brought community and academic perspectives to questions that matter in day-to-day precision medicine practice. Kratz also served as a co-chair for the APO portion of the event.
